The Grove Shorthorns to $32,000

The Grove Shorthorns have reached a top price of $32,000 at their bull sale for an average of $7255 and a 96 per cent clearance.

The 36th annual on-property sale near Condamine drew buyers from across Queensland and as far away as Western Australia to pick up quality sires from the Morgan family.

After the first 20 lots were sold in a live auction, the sale switched to Helmsman format.

All Shorthorn sires sold for a 100pc clearance while seven out of 11 Durham Blacks sold.

Top price bull roan Shorthorn The Grove Bondi N0254 (P) sold for $32,000 to John and Judy Acton, Tulach Ard, Blackwater.
